Whilst we don’t want to get too spun up in re: wish lists and improbably scenarios, Andy Reid was forthcoming in his Monday presser about the Eagles actively sniffing deals.  Which, given the cone of silence that typically surrounds the Birds’ front office, was something of a large admission. 

Certainly the timing around a trade would work nicely.  While we can assume that it’s tough for any player to switch teams midway through a season, making a move over the bye week is probably the most agreeable time to do it.  You get a couple extra days to find a place to live, update your credit card billing address, and start studying the playbook.

Let’s call it a 15 percent chance that the Eagles do something today.  We’ll be pushing F5 on PFT in our spare moments between now and 4 pm EDT just to be sure.
