As you might imagine, the stadium replays at the Linc (which are normally quite excellent) didn’t do a spectacular job highlighting the fact that Asante Samuel definitely fumbled the ball into the end zone on his interception return.
Luckily, one of my buddies is getting pretty handy with his SLR, and he managed to be snapping photos on that play. Which is how all the folks in our section were treated to first this:
And then, via the zoom feature on his camera’s display, this:
That’s certainly a lot more incontrovertible visual evidence than I saw in the Ravens-Steelers game. And it was homemade, shot from the upper deck on the opposite side of the field (our seats were roughly parallel to the back of the end zone).

Link Here | December 17, 2008,It is funny yet more than a little perturbing that this has happened often enough to our favorite team that it’s being used as if it’s an actual word. ‘You almost did a DJack, man.’ is not unlike “Wow! Looks like I pulled a Homer!”
