There weren't a ton of Cowboys fans where I was (hip sports bar in the East Village, mostly NY fans -- Giants, Jets -- but small smatterings of out-of-town loyalists scattered throughout), but the most obvious one was wearing an Emmitt Smith jersey.

I effing hate Emmitt Smith. The first sighting of this dude occasioned a conversation between me and the missus about how I wasn't going to try to start an argument with him.

Of course I was making a scene of myself at the bar throughout the first half, and shortly after halftime the guy in the Emmitt Smith shirt comes over to congratulate me. I'm slightly ashamed that I couldn't be more gracious, but I had to drop a "Hey, lot of ball left" on him. GIGGLE GIGGLE GIGGLE.

I blame the Emmitt Smith shirt.

I watched most of this game in a bar packed with Birds fans in Atlantic City...awesome.

I was prepared to be satisfied with playing spoiler to Dallas' playoff hopes, and was shocked when my new 2nd favorite teams came through and made this meaningful. Optimism was still not high, so I was shocked and delighted at the complete undressing of the cowboys. I don't think I've EVER, with the possible exception of the 2004 NFC Championship game, enjoyed being an Eagles fan as much as I did on Sunday. Watching the Cowboys fans leave the bar in the 3rd quarter to chants of "hey hey hey goodbye!" was amazing.

AR press conference - Andrews is improving and last couple weeks he's been phenomenal. AR wants to "keep that door open" for him to play in a couple weeks.
