McNabb was definitely on his way to a come-out-tight-and-screw-the-pooch-in-the-big-game moment, but he stood tall in the third quarter, and that's not easy -- that was a loud stadium, on the road, down a ton of points. If he had been even better than he was they might have won, but I agree with you -- the defense sold us out yesterday.

I'm not as kind to McNabb as you. I thought he was really bad in the first half.

That said, the defense is why the Eagles lost yesterday. 5 NFC Championships, 4 innovative ways of FAIL.

I felt fortunate on the kickoff. I didn't see conclusive evidence that it hit Abiamiri. It may have, but I couldn't tell from the replay.

Of course, I'll freely admit that I didn't know that this wasn't a reviewable play. One of many rules of which I am no ddoubt unaware.

The refs actually screwed the Eagles on the kickoff. Abiamiri went out of bounds then the ball appeared to hit him. That's a penalty on the Cards.

The ball, however, was not placed at the 40.
